Unitech Wooden Cutlery (Rajendra Trading Company) has manufactured disposable wooden and bamboo cutlery in-house since 2007 from our facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Because we manufacture rather than trade, we control the material, the process and the quality checks directly.
Cutlery is manufactured from natural birch wood; skewers and selected products from bamboo. Both are fast-growing, renewable materials.
The wood is left uncoated and untreated. There is no plastic lining, varnish or chemical surface finish that could leach into food or alter its taste.
Every piece is sanded to a smooth, splinter-free finish — the single most common quality complaint with low-grade wooden cutlery, and the one we check for hardest.
Production is controlled end to end at our own facility rather than sub-contracted, so material, process and finish stay consistent across batches and repeat orders.
Batches are inspected for finish, dimensional consistency and packing integrity before dispatch, with hygiene protocols maintained on the production floor.
Because the product contains no plastic at all, it is compostable after use and serves as a direct replacement under single-use plastic restrictions.
